First off, this game has a nice black cover with the Greek letter Psi on the
cover. The interior of the book has no illustrations, which I wouldn't hold
against the company. This is a game of cover-up's and conspiracies.
So what do you get for your cash? Well this game is published by an
independent company based in Ireland. It also has a competent index and a
list of tables in the back of the book help you find things that you want. Big
game companies take note!
Ever since the X-Files became popular, it was only a matter of time before the
roleplaying games companies started to produce games like this.
The players take the role of psionic people working for a secret project. What
they do is up to the gamesmaster. Like most rpgs, the game appears to have
no pre-set goal, also since this is an independent production there are no
supplements due out.
The mechanics seem competent and use nothing more than the humble six
sided dice for play, since this is a common die you should have no trouble
getting hold of them. The background is well thought out and interesting.
This review is based on reading the game, I have yet to play it or run it. So
please bear this in mind. By all means, purchase the book and help support a
small press company.
