I was screwed. 40 people who truly believed that they were vampires were chasing me. Well, I ran pretty fast. Unfortunately, this host lived in the middle of nowhere, and I had parked about a mile away. (about two kilometres for you backwards folk). I took a "shortcut" through the nearby forest, an idea that required a little more thought than I gave it, and ran fast. After narrowly avoiding several of those fucking vampire people, I reached my car. I jumped in and drove off, speeding all the way home.

The Phone Call

The next morning, passed out from exhaustion and the several pints of liquor I required to fall asleep that night, I was awakened by a phone call. It was Bastard, and he wanted me to meet him for lunch. I said sure, got dressed, and left for my luncheon.

When I saw him, he had on the goofiest fucking grin I have ever seen.

"Hey, man! Wasn't that GREAT? Everyone really liked you, and I told them we'd be back next time. Is that cool with--UUFF!!!"

That last sound that emanated from Bastard's mouth was the result of me smashing my fist into his stomach. That was the last I saw of Bastard.

Anyway, that's my experience with Live Action. Don't know if you found it interesting or not, but here it is. My only advice if you are considering joining a Live Action Game is as follows:

Attend a few games as a bystander, so you can see the real rules that are used.

Never attend if you know fewer than 20% of the people there.

Bring a wooden stake and a mallet.
