Reality & Super Heroes, A Deadly Combination

Jonny Storm was always my favourite out of the Fantastic Four. You know, the guy who would shout "flame on", and turn into the Human Torch. Pretty cool, actually. But I have to wonder: If I was falling from of a twelve story building, and the Human Torch was flying up to save me, would it really be the SMARTEST thing I could do to let him catch me? He flies around with people all of the time in the comics. They're just fine after taking a leisurely flight atop a 450 degree oven, but if I have to choose between a quick splat on the ground and and a slow roast... I'm gonna kiss the sidewalk.
